Irrigation for Drought Resilience: Drought is a common disaster in Kenya, affecting about 84% of the land and sometimes all corners of the country. Yet drought is an expected phenomenon whose adaptation and resilience can be managed. Irrigation offers a sustainable solution to drought resilience, since it starts with development of water supplies.
Indeed, where there is irrigation, the impacts of drought are neutralized!
